Actress Lydia Forson has voiced her criticism of the President of Ghana and the Ghana Police Service regarding their treatment of protesters.
Recently, 39 protesters who took to the streets of Accra were remanded by a circuit court for allegedly engaging in unlawful activities.
They will remain in police and prison custody until their next court appearance in October.
Many Ghanaians on social media have condemned the police for their actions against the protesters, who were demonstrating against illegal mining.
