Captain Smart has asked the Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare to apologize to Ghanaians for failing to protect them.

According to him during his show on Onua TV at 6am, Dampare has disappointed Ghanaians for allowing his men arrest and manhandle protestors.

Captain Smart added that the actions of the protestors were for a good cause and IGP allowing his men arrest them only proves how bias he is.

He cited examples where top people in the Government who committed heinous crimes were allowed to scot-free but innocent protestors were arrested for expressing their grievances about the ongoing illegal mining activities affecting the water bodies in Ghana. "Since when did it become a criminal offense to protest against bad things going on in the country?
