The Chief Executive of the Chief Executive of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Ofosu Nkansah has praised what he described as the high professionalism of the Ghana Police Service in handling the Democracy Hub demonstrators who were captured on video provoking the Police among other violations at their demonstration.
According to him, the Police Service has carved a positive image of the country and its democratic credentials.
In an interview with Starrfm.com.gh, Mr Ofosu Nkansah said the Police exhibited maturity often associated with advanced democracies. "We all saw that in the face of provocation our Police remained calm and professional.
This is a complete departure from the previous governments where citizens exercising their rights were assaulted by the Police.
