Disqualified Presidential Candidate of the People's National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah, has filed a suit against the Election Commission (EC) following his disqualification from the 2024 Presidential Race.
Mornah and 10 other aspirants, were disqualified due to issues with their nomination forms.
In a suit filed at the High Court, Bernard Mornah is requesting the court to compel the Electoral Commission to allow him to contest the presidential elections.
Mornah is seeking a declaration that the EC's failure to provide specific reasons for his disqualification or grant him a hearing constitutes a breach of his fundamental human rights.
