The Volta regional branch of the United Cadres Front (UCF), a group affiliated with the (NDC) has distanced itself from a splinter group calling itself "Pillars of Ghana Cadres," claiming to be affiliated with the UCF and having the backing of the NDC leadership in the region.
A release issued by the UCF on September 19, 2024, and signed by its Volta regional publicity officer, Cde.
Selasi Agradi, condemned the activities of the group, cautioning the general public not to patronize the group as it was operating illegally on the back of the UCF and the party. "The United Cadres Front Volta has noticed with grave concern, the activities of some individuals posing as Cadres grouping, Pillars of Ghana Cadres.
We wish to bring to the attention of the general public that all cadre groupings right from the revolution to date, operate under only one recognized umbrella called the United Cadres Front (UCF) which is the only grouping known and endorsed by the NDC fraternity - there is no such grouping in the UCF called Pillars of Ghana Cadres," the release stated.
