The Ghana Police Service this morning met with the Democracy Hub, the organizers of the planned demonstration.
At the meeting, the Police brought the attention of the organizers to the order of the court prohibiting them from demonstrating at the Revolution Square, in front of the Jubilee House in the interest of public defence, public order, public safety, public health and the running of essential services.
We are once again by this medium appealing to the organizers to reconsider and choose one of the locations proposed to them.
We therefore call on the good people of this country to support the Police to maintain law and order, ensure security and preserve the peace of our beloved country.
