The National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, has expressed strong displeasure over the actions of Democracy Hub protesters, who reportedly destroyed NPP paraphernalia at the 37 Roundabout in Accra.

The protesters allegedly cleared and set fire to items belonging to the NPP as part of a symbolic protest against the governing party.

In response, Salam Mustapha took to social media to voice his frustration, accusing the protesters of unnecessary provocation and the destruction of party property.

He also criticised the lack of police intervention during the incident and expressed concerns over what he perceived as biased media coverage of the events.

While acknowledging that the NPP supports the right to peaceful demonstration, Mustapha stated that the destruction of party property was unacceptable and would not be tolerated.

He further called on NPP supporters to gather at the 37 Roundabout the following day to protect party property and prevent any future acts of vandalism.
