The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has raised concerns over some incumbent members who, after losing in the party's primaries, plan to contest the 2024 general elections as independent candidates.
He noted that the party is engaging these individuals, expressing hope that they will reconsider their decision to run independently.
His comments follow the decisions of about two incumbent NPP MPs, who, after their primary losses, have announced their intent to contest as independents in the 2024 elections.
