Richard Ahiagbah, the Communications Director of the (NPP), has stated that the party's Flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will prioritise the dualisation of the Accra-Kumasi Highway, reaffirming the government's commitment to upgrade infrastructure in the country.
According to a report by citinewsroom.com he expressed hope that the future administration of Dr Bawumia will make the necessary investments to dualise the highway. "I am very confident that the next administration, which would be the administration led by Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, I am confident that he would make the necessary investments to ensure that from Accra to Kumasi ought to be a dualised road," he noted.
The Accra-Kumasi Highway which links Accra to Kumasi has become perilous for road users due to the increasing number of accidents on the highway.
