The Institute of Economic Affairs' (IEA) Presidential Evening Encounter with Nana Kwame Bediako, who is also known as Cheddar has been cancelled.
The founder and leader of the New Force Movement unexpectedly pulled out of the encounter, which was set to take place on Wednesday, September 18.
Cheddar was scheduled to appear at 6 p.m.
to participate in the encounter, but his withdrawal came without any stated reason at the time of the announcement.
The IEA had previously outlined its schedule for the Presidential Evening Encounters and debates on Friday, September 13.
Cheddar's appearance was slated to be the first in the series, followed by Alan Kyerematen, who is expected to attend the next encounter on September 24.
