Correspondence from Ashanti Region Two traders are in critical condition after a fence wall collapsed at the Suame Roundabout in Kumasi.

The incident occurred when a bulldozer, while reversing within the Ghana Water Company's compound, accidentally struck the wall behind which the two traders, among others, were operating.

The victims, identified as a kontomire seller and an onion seller, were struck by the falling debris.

According to eyewitness Georgina Abukari, the traders were in proximity to the wall when the accident occurred. "We were trading here when a bulldozer inside the Waterworks building, attempting to exit, unfortunately hit the gate and then struck the fence wall.
