Plymouth Argyle produced a lively performance to beat Stockport County 4-2 at Home Park on Saturday, with English-Ghanaian midfielder Malachi Boateng playing a full game and registering an assist.

The match opened with drama when Stockport's Kyle Wootton turned the ball into his own net on 24 minutes, handing Plymouth the lead.

Caleb Watts then doubled the advantage with a brilliant strike before Oliver Norwood pulled one back from the penalty spot just before the break.

Early in the second half, Boateng showed his quality.
