Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, Stephen Amoah aka Sticka, has defended Kennedy Agyapong amid criticisms surrounding his reputation as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearership race intensifies.
Speaking in an interview on Okay FM, as monitored by Mynewsgh.com, Sticka argued that every human being has weaknesses and should not be judged solely by past mistakes. "Every human being is fallible," Sticka said. "People make it seem like Kennedy Agyapong has a bad reputation, but that is unfair. "Former President John Agyekum Kufuor once said, proverbially, that hot water cannot drown a person, but cold water does.
The point is that despite Ken's shortcomings, he has demonstrated an exemplary lifestyle and has the track record to lead the NPP." Sticka highlighted Kennedy's dedication to the party even after losing the previous flagbearership race to former Vice President Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia. "After losing to Bawumia, Ken still went all out and campaigned massively for him in the 2024 elections when Bawumia came up against Mahama.
