The former Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, has launched a blistering attack on New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopefuls who claim to enjoy greater grassroots popularity than .
In a strongly-worded Facebook post on Sunday, September 7, 2025, Ofosu Nkansah, an ardent supporter of the former Vice President and 2024 presidential candidate, described such claims as empty political talk without evidence. "Talking on the basis that some candidates are loved more by the grassroots than Dr Bawumia without any data or research to back same, I can also say that I, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, am loved more by the grassroots than those candidates," he declared.
He stressed that anyone could make similar pronouncements since "talk is cheap," challenging aspirants to prove their popularity with facts rather than rhetoric.
Ofosu Nkansah ended his post with a cheeky jab, signing off, "Osee Opoofo, the most popular, a direct mockery of the repeated self-proclamations of some contenders.
