A devastating accident on the Cape Coast-Accra Highway at Kromantse has claimed the lives of eight people.
Five others have been rushed to the Saltpond Government Hospital with severe injuries.
The victims were confirmed dead upon arrival at the hospital.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when a Mercedes Benz (AS 4146-25) collided with a Hino truck (GW 5958-25).
