English lower-tier outfit Gillingham FC have completed the signing of Ghanaian teenager Travis Akomeah on a short term deal.
The 19-year-old centre-back joins the League Two outfit from Championship club, Watford on loan until January 2026 and is expected to continue his development at the club.
Akomeah, who rejoined the Hornets earlier this year following his departure from Chelsea, joins the Gills until the New Year and could make his league debut this weekend.
The English-Ghanaian defender featured twice for Chelsea in last season's Vertu Trophy, playing the full 90 minutes at Bromley before coming on as a second-half substitute against Charlton in October 2024.
