Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani believes his side has the potential to grow into a stronger unit, insisting their pre-season successes are part of a longer rebuilding process.

The Phobians defeated city rivals Accra Great Olympics 1-0 at the University of Ghana Stadium to lift the 2025 Democracy Cup, with substitute Kwesi Asmah netting the decisive goal in the 70th minute.

Asmah's strike not only sealed victory but also earned him the Man of the Match award.

Despite the triumph, Dramani downplayed expectations, reminding fans that the team remains a "work in progress." "It's still early days yet…we are ready to play [the new league campaign] but there is still a lot of work to improve on," he said.
