President has disclosed that the Inspector General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohonu, has submitted the investigative report on electoral violence during the 2020 and 2024 general elections.
According to him, the report has been handed over to the Attorney General for review, and further action will be taken if necessary, including the sanctioning of those found culpable.
He made this known when executives of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) paid him a courtesy call at the Jubilee House on Friday, September 5, 2025. "I asked the IGP in the early days when I assumed the presidency to investigate the violence in 2020 and 2024. "I wish to inform you that last week, I received the investigative report so the Attorney General is going to go through.
If there's a need to hold some people culpable and bring them to book, the Attorney General will do that," he said.
