Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has pointed to poor pitch conditions as a key factor in Ghana's frustrating 1-1 draw against Chad in N'Djamena.
Addo explained that the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno's dry surface slowed his team's passing game and limited their usual attacking rhythm. "I think surely we wanted to have ball possession, but it's very difficult to play on this pitch when it's not watered.
We can't play fast.
It's a disadvantage for us because the boys play in Europe on wet pitches, they can move the ball quickly.
