Senior Communicator for the Movement for Change, Solomon Owusu, has criticised former Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo, questioning her integrity over her defence of dismissed Chief Justice Gertrude Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo.

Solomon Owusu accused Sophia Akuffo of showing selective solidarity, claiming her defence of Torkornoo was allegedly influenced by personal connections rather than principle. "She knows the embattled Chief Justice in three ways: both are women, they attended Wesley Girls' High School, and both have held the position of Chief Justice.
