The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that players in the Division One League (DOL) will receive a minimum monthly salary of GHS 700, beginning with contracts signed in the next registration window.
The measure is part of a wider policy shift aimed at raising standards in the domestic game.
It follows the Association's collaboration with the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG), which earlier introduced a standard contract for players across clubs.
For footballers already under contract, the new minimum salaries will take effect from the 2026/27 league season.
