Ghanaian rapper and music executive, D-Black, has opened up about his childhood struggles in response to claims that he grew up privileged.
The Black Avenue Muzik boss revealed that he lost his father at the age of 12, leaving his mother to singlehandedly raise him and his siblings.
In a post on X, D-Black explained that his mother's relentless hard work, coupled with God's grace, carried them through difficult times.
He dismissed suggestions that he had a "rich kid" upbringing, stressing that people should not assume to know his story.
