Multimedia journalist Philip Osei Bonsu, popularly known as OB, has disclosed that former Member of Parliament for Akwatia constituency, Ernest Yaw Kumi, would have been called to the bar if not for his untimely demise.

According to Osei Bonsu, the final examination results released on August 29, 2025, show that the late MP passed all four required subjects for successful completion of Law School.

The host of the political show Ekosiisen on Asempa FM, who recently completed Law School himself, revealed that Yaw Kumi was set to be called to the bar in October 2025 to begin his law practice, had he lived. "Yaw, the results of your Part Two exams have been released, and you passed all four subjects.
