Lawyer for former Director General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), Charles Adu Boahene, Samuel Atta-Akyea, has accused the Attorney General's office of deliberately withholding crucial evidence in his client's ongoing trial.

Atta-Akyea, the prosecution failed to disclose 83 pages of a bank statement that he insists are critical to Adu Boahene's defence.

Speaking in an interview with JoyNews on Friday, August 29, he alleged that the missing documents have created what he described as a "deficit of evidence" in the case. "The Attorney General withheld about 83 pages of a bank statement that the Attorney General has filed before the court.
