The latest poll by research agency, Global Info Analytics, on the upcoming by-election for the Akwatia constituency has put the candidate of the (NDC), Bernard Baidoo, in a commanding lead.
According to the poll, 53% of voters in the constituency have indicated that they would be voting for NDC's Baidoo in the by-election, which is just three days away.
The candidate of the opposition (NPP), Solomon Asumadu, from the poll garnered 47% of votes in the poll.
This gives Baidoo a six-percentage-point lead in the by-election, which is slated for September 2, 2025.
