The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Ocloo, has given Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) a two-week ultimatum to fix all damaged streetlights within their jurisdictions.
Speaking at a media engagement on Thursday, August 28, 2025, she disclosed that the Ministry has secured 3,000 streetlights to be distributed among the assemblies, with each MMDCE expected to receive 100 units. "Let me be clear, you have two weeks only to ensure that every single one of those lights is fixed.
No excuses, no delays.
