Hearts of Oak coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has issued a rallying call to the club's supporters to turn out in large numbers at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 5, 2025, when the Phobians face Great Olympics in the second edition of the Democracy Cup.

The fixture will serve as a key pre-season test as the Phobians aim to add another piece of silverware ahead of the new campaign.

The match offers more than just bragging rights against their city rivals.

With the tournament instituted by the Parliament of Ghana to celebrate Ghana's democratic credentials, Dramani stressed the importance of the occasion, urging fans to embrace football as a tool for unity. "Ghana is noted to be the pinnacle of democracy, and in view of this, if our Honourable Speaker of Parliament has instituted an event of this kind, and this is the second edition of it, I think that it is everyone's responsibility to use football as a unifying factor to fill the stadia on the 5th of September at the stadium of Legon," he said.
