Mahamudu Bawumia has outlined key elements of his economic vision, promising bold reforms aimed at expanding the Ghanaian economy and addressing everyday struggles.

Unveiling his proposals, Bawumia said he would introduce a flat tax system covering individuals, corporations, and imports, which he argued would be fairer and more efficient. "My vision is to expand the Ghanaian economy through rich ideas that provide incentives and measures, such as a flat tax system … and an enabling environment for business to thrive and accelerate the pace of job creation for the youth of this country," he stated while addressing his suppoters after filing his nomination to contest the party's flagbearership,  On party matters, Bawumia vowed to recognize the sacrifices of grassroots members, pledging to restore appointments of loyal members who lost their jobs under the current government. "Many have lost their jobs under the current government, and we will restore their appointments when we come to office in 2029," he assured.

Beyond politics, he acknowledged the economic hardships ordinary citizens face and promised relief measures. "My vision is to introduce measures that reduce the cost of living for the average Ghanaian," he emphasized, positioning his campaign on growth, fairness, and practical solutions for the people.
