Former National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku, has urged party faithful to conduct a civil and issues-based campaign as the party gears up for internal contests ahead of the 2028 elections.
In a message sighted by MyNewsGh, Awuku reaffirmed his support for Vice President Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia, noting that the road ahead may be tough but victory is assured if the party remains united and respectful. "As the New Patriotic Party (NPP: Development in Freedom), an offshoot of the Danquah-Dombo-Busia tradition, enters a critical phase in its quest to recapture power in 2028, may the gentle souls of our forbears-Danquah, Dombo and Busia-provide useful guidance and inspiration from the spirit world to Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia as he makes a case to the NPP delegates and its rank and file from tomorrow," he said.
