National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketia, has responded to claims by some elements in the opposition that John Dramani Mahama wants to amend the constitution to allow for a third term for himself.
According to him, the NDC has never run the party in ways that conflict with the national constitution.
He says the party will stick to the country's constitution and will not do anything to hamper the constitution. "We have never run our party in ways that conflict with the national constitution, and we don't intend doing that.
We will stick by the tenets of the Constitution," he said in an interview with Channel 1 Media.
