Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of defender Musa Hamzata ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season. The towering centre-back joins the Porcupine Warriors after inking a three-year deal with the Kumasi-based club from Accra Lions.
Hamzata, only 22, arrives with enormous experience, having played over 50 matches in the Ghanaian top division. "This is a huge step for me, and I'm grateful for the chance to wear the Kotoko shirt," said the former PAC Academy player.
With Kotoko set for domestic and continental action in the upcoming campaign, Hamzata insists he is ready for the challenge. "I know the expectations here are very high, but I'm ready for that challenge.
I want to grow as a player, help the team win trophies, and show that I can be one of the best defenders in the league," he added.
