Belgium-born Ghanaian defender Ibrahim Digberekou has completed a season-long loan move to Belgian Challenger Pro League outfit KSC Lokeren from Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The 20-year-old centre-back, who can also feature at right-back, joins Lokeren in search of regular first-team football to aid his development as one of Europe's rising defensive prospects.
The loan deal will run until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
Digberekou extended his contract with Borussia Monchengladbach earlier this summer before being allowed to make the temporary switch, a move that reflects the German club's long-term faith in his potential.
