German-born Ghanaian defender, Derrick Kohn, has shared his ambition after sealing a move to Bundesliga outfit Union Berlin in the summer transfer window.  The 26-year-old signed a four-year deal to join Union from Turkish giants Galatasaray.

His return to the league comes after spending part of last season on loan at Werder Bremen, making 30 appearances, including 27 in the German topflight. "Union suit me – they're a club with attitude, a clear vision and great team spirit.

I want to contribute my qualities on the wing, and I'm convinced that they will fit in well with the team's style of play," said Köhn after completing the move. "Now I'm excited about the team, the fans and the environment in Berlin and I'm really looking forward to getting to know everything there." Kohn started his career at Hamburger SV before joining Bayern Munich but struggles for first team football saw him move to the Netherlands to sign for Willem II.

He returned to Germany to join Hanover 96 before his big move to Turkey, where he won the league with Galatasaray. "Derrick brings pace, assertiveness and Bundesliga experience.
