Deputy Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Rashid Sofo Tanko-Computer, has declared that the party has full trust in the security arrangements for the upcoming Akwatia by-election.
Speaking on Channel One Newsroom on Tuesday, August 19, Tanko-Computer said the NDC had no intention of deploying any private security since the police had given firm assurances of their preparedness. "We have full confidence in the state security.
We were with them at the Kumawu by-election, we were with them at the Assin North by-election, and we saw what happened at Ablekuma North.
