Several personnel of the Ghana Armed Forces have taken over the National Children's Library at Airport to support Ghanaian teacher, Morkporkpor Fiador, who is also the wife of a military officer, as she attempts to break the Guinness World Record for the Longest Marathon Reading Aloud (Read-A-Thon).

The 240-hour non-stop reading attempt by Morkporkpor Fiador, from the Field Engineer 'A' Unit of the 5 Garrison Education Unit of the Ghana Armed Forces, began at 6:00 PM on August 18, 2025.

Her journey has entered day two, as she continues the 240-hour challenge under the strict rules of the Guinness World Records.
