The Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, , has called out the Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, for peddling falsehoods about Mahama's travel to Japan.
According to him, Assafuah's claim that President John Dramani Mahama travelled abroad on an expensive private jet is shambolic propaganda.
Ekow Assafuah has alleged on his Facebook page that Mahama has rented a luxurious private jet, which is estimated to cost $15,000 per hour.
He further speculated that, per his estimation above, Mahama's travel abroad will cost a total of $690,000 if it covers stops in Japan, Singapore, Germany, and finally back to Accra.
