Prince Ofori, one of two (NPP) activists popularly known as Fante Comedy, who was arrested for threatening to harm President and First Lady Lordina Mahama, has been released.
A video shared on social media showed Fante Comedy celebrating after his release on Monday, April 18, 2025.
The NPP activist was seen in the company of several leading party figures, including the National Youth Organiser, Salam Mustapha, and the party's 2024 parliamentary candidate for the Adenta Constituency, Akosua Manu.
In the video, Fante Comedy was captured hugging Akosua Manu amid the celebration of his release.
