Heart of Lions assistant coach Daniel Nii Adjei has expressed disappointment after his side suffered another defeat to Hearts of Oak in the 2025 Gbese Mantse Charity Cup.

The Kpando-based club lost 2-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, marking their second consecutive setback against the Phobians in the annual fixture.

Hearts of Oak sealed the win with two first-half goals, as new signing Frank Duku opened the scoring before Hamza Issah doubled the advantage.

The result handed head coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani his first trophy since taking charge, while extending Lions' frustrations in the competition.
