The President of Ghana, H.E.
John Dramani Mahama, together with Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang and the government, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Ghana and the international community for the immense support following the tragic helicopter crash of August 6 that claimed eight lives.
In a statement issued on August 18, the presidency acknowledged the outpouring of solidarity, sympathy, and kindness shown to the bereaved families.
The President also extended appreciation to chiefs, clergy, civil society, the diplomatic community, political leaders, security chiefs, service personnel, and organizations that played key roles during the difficult period.
