Professor Kingsley Nyarko, Member of Parliament for Kwadaso, has criticised the ruling (NDC) for forming a Prophecy Review Committee, arguing that Ghana's pressing needs lie in effective governance and strategic leadership.

Speaking at the HopeXchange Medical Centre's Lactation Conference in Kumasi, Professor Nyarko emphasised that Ghana's development depends on knowledge-driven policies, innovation, and consistent good governance, not committees focused on prophecies.

He expressed disappointment with the NDC's decision to establish the Prophecy Review Committee, led by , describing it as a misallocation of resources at a time when citizens are struggling with unemployment, economic hardship, and challenges in healthcare and education. "Committees on prophecy review will not solve Ghana's problems," Professor Nyarko asserted. "What we need are leaders who understand governance, appreciate the achievements of previous administrations, and are ready to move the country forward." The Kwadaso MP argued that the current socio-economic climate demands practical leadership and tangible policy solutions that address the everyday concerns of Ghanaians, rather than "political theatrics clothed in religion." Professor Nyarko reminded the NDC government that Ghanaians are demanding affordable healthcare, quality education, job creation, economic stability, and improved infrastructure - not diversions.

He also criticised the government for neglecting projects such as the Pokuase Road initiative, which was started under the previous NPP administration and could directly benefit citizens.
