Former Black Stars assistant coach George Boateng has agreed a deal to become the head coach of Belgian third-tier club RAEC Mons.

The former Dutch international will sign a three-year deal with the club.

Boateng has been unattached since leaving Coventry City in November 2024 following the appointment of Frank Lampard.

Before his appointment by the English Championship side, the 49-year-old worked with the Ghana national team.
