What was supposed to be a normal TESCON election at the Apenteng Appiah Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) turned out to be a major setback for the Campaign, following their involvement in the election.

Normally, NPP students on campus put themselves forward for election to various executive positions, with a promise to advance the interest of the party.

However, this year's election was different, as prior to the election, news on campus emerged that the Kennedy Campaign had a list of candidates for each executive position it was backing.

These executives were projected through the Kennedy Campaign as supporters of , and NPP students of the university were urged to vote for them.
