Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Akwatia Constituency, Solomon Kwame Asumadu, has sent a barrage of stern warnings to the Inspector General of Police, COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno, ahead of the September 2, 2025, by-election.
Solomon Kwame Asumadu says the police should not fail in their duty to protect the peace and sanity in the Akwatia Constituency.
He contends that the election and its peacefulness will be a test of the police chief's integrity and credibility. "I believe that the IGP will ensure a peaceful election on 2nd September.
Ensuring a peaceful election will help boost his credibility.
