Newly elected President of the Ghana Bar Association, Efua Ghartey has pledged to end divisions and factions within the Association and stressed the need for unity.
She called for concerted efforts among members to work towards achieving the Association's goals. "The Bar has spoken and from this day forward it is a united Bar in service.

It is over." "It is time that we put shoulders to the plough and work to deliver what we believe should be the bar in progress," she stated after her election in Kumasi on Wednesday.

The election took place at the GBA congress in Kumasi on Wednesday, September 11, marking a significant milestone in the Association's history.
