Dr Noel Nutsugah, a lecturer and Head of the Department of Public Relations under the Faculty of Business and Strategic Communication (FoBSC) at the University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC), has been elected President of the UniMAC chapter of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG).
In elections held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, Dr Nutsugah secured a decisive victory with 74 votes out of 79 valid ballots cast.
Other elected executives include Dr Isaac Osei as Vice President, Dr Mary Ayim-Segbefia as Secretary, Dr Stephen Tindi as Treasurer, Dr Beatrice Agyemang as Women's Executive Officer, and Dr Joshua Doe as Institute Representative for UniMAC-IJ.
Commenting on his overwhelming endorsement, Dr Nutsugah said: "This is not a task I take lightly.
