Former Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan, has alleged that every member of the ruling (NDC) is a "potential human sacrifice" due to what he describes as a "standing declaration" made by the party's chairman, .
Speaking on a panel discussion on Peace FM's Kokrokoo morning show on Thursday, August 14, 2025, Duncan referenced Proverbs 18:21, stating, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it shall eat its fruit." He explained that his comment stems from a public statement Asiedu Nketiah allegedly made in the past, in which he said the NDC was ready to sacrifice "anything and everything, including human lives," for the party's cause. "At the time he made that statement, he had the potential to carry it out.
When you declare such a thing to the whole world and it still stands unrevoked, it becomes a standing declaration of human sacrifice, which makes every NDC member a potential victim," Duncan asserted.
His comments were made in the context of the recent military helicopter crash in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region, which claimed the lives of several high-profile government officials and military personnel.
