A vigil was held at the Christ the King Parish in Accra on Thursday, August 14, 2025, in honour of Dr Edward Omane Boamah.
It almost turned into a 'weeping night' when the children of the late defence minister mounted the podium and paid a heartfelt tribute to their beloved father.
With heavy hearts, they described him as a guiding light whose love, compassion, and values shaped their lives.
The children recalled that their father never missed their special moments, as his fatherly love remained the warmth that filled their home.
