A devastating accident at the Asukawkaw Market in the Krachi East Municipality of the Oti Region has claimed four lives and left 14 others with serious injuries.
The tragedy occurred on Thursday when a fuel tanker ran into a crowd of market women and children.
According to the Assembly Member for the Asukawkaw Electoral Area, Mark Oduro, the victims included three women and a one-year-old girl who were conducting their daily business when the tanker driver lost control and crashed into them. "It is a very sad day for our community.
