Flagbearer hopeful of the (NPP), Dr , has expressed optimism that his party will vote to elect him as its flagbearer to lead them to electoral success in 2028.
Addressing his supporters after receiving the nomination forms picked up on his behalf on Thursday, August 14, 2025, Dr Adutwum outlined his vision, stating that he is committed to leading the country to its 'promised land', one devoid of poverty and deprivation. "We are on track and by the grace of God, my party, I believe, will vote for me and make me the flagbearer of the (NPP), and after that, we'll be on the journey to the promised land. "The land that our nation has been yearning for in years; our nation will become a prosperous one.
Our nation will wage war against poverty and win; poverty and deprivation will be over," he said in a video shared by JoyNews.
Dr Adutwum, who served as Minister of Education under the previous NPP administration, added that his presidency, if elected as the party's flagbearer for the 2028 elections, would focus on making the country successful by ensuring that all citizens benefit from its progress.
