The Ghana Football Association (GFA) says it remains committed to transparent and ethical collaborations with licensed betting companies, citing its ongoing partnership with betPawa as a model.
BetPawa currently serves as a key partner of the GFA, providing locker-room bonuses to players in both the Ghana Premier League and the Women's Premier League.
This arrangement, the Association says, has offered direct financial incentives to players and boosted morale across the leagues. "We are open to partnerships with credible legal betting companies who wish to engage with our football ecosystem transparently and ethically," the GFA stated during its 31st Ordinary Congress.
The FA reiterated that while no betting company is permitted to take bets on Ghana's domestic leagues, existing partnerships focus on non-betting-related sponsorship initiatives that directly benefit the football community.
